About Taylor
After over a decade in visual design in marketing, I know that integrating user research into the process is the most effective approach to design. The UX Design process can be beneficial for companies and users alike. Results have affirmed that improved user experiences generate greater customer satisfaction and increased brand loyalty.
The integration of the UX Process has proven to increase customer satisfaction not only with the product being offered but also with the brand. In 2019, I provided insights on design decisions for email wireframes, brand website, and online store with Watkins Wellness to assist them in reimagining their flagship brand, Hot Spring Spas. As a result, the company's stock increased 25% despite being in the middle of the pandemic.
In 2020, I transitioned from a contract into a full-time position with Activbody as a Product Manager and UX Designer. My role included improving user experience, creating premium features, and helping with medical device certification for the company’s most profitable product, Activforce 2. Utilizing user interviews as a primary source of design decisions, I was able to improve a 300-tap interaction to a 3-tap interaction.
In both of these cases, the customers expressed they felt like the company cared about their needs and truly wanted to create a product that helps them instead of just trying to make money by selling the product to anyone who would buy it. Through these experiences, I have learned how to effectively navigate user-centric design decisions to develop a high-quality product for a better product market fit.
